Terms of Service
Effective August 25, 2026 · Koadi Tech
1. What Relay is
Relay is a marketplace that connects people who need a package delivered ("senders") with independent local couriers. Couriers are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Relay. Relay is not a carrier and does not itself transport packages.
2. Accounts
You must be 18 or older and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password safe. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, provide false verification documents, or harm other users.
3. Pricing and payment
Senders set the delivery price. The full price goes to the courier; Relay charges couriers a subscription instead of a commission. Where card payment is enabled, the sender is charged when posting and refunded in full if the delivery is canceled before a courier accepts. A delivery that fails because the recipient was unavailable and is returned to the sender is still payable in full to the courier.
4. Prohibited items
No illegal items, weapons, ammunition, illegal drugs, alcohol or tobacco (unless separately licensed and lawful), hazardous materials, live animals, cash or bearer instruments, or anything requiring a licensed carrier. Couriers may refuse any package and must refuse ones that appear prohibited.
5. Proof and disputes
Pickup and delivery are evidenced by photos, recipient PIN codes, and signatures collected in the app. Disputes are reviewed by Relay on that evidence, and Relay’s resolution decisions are final within the platform. Senders should declare an accurate item value; Relay’s liability for a lost or damaged package is limited to the lesser of the declared value or $100 unless required otherwise by law.
6. Couriers
Couriers must pass verification (identity, driver’s license, and vehicle documents where applicable), maintain any legally required licenses and insurance, and comply with all laws while delivering. Couriers choose which jobs to accept and are responsible for their own taxes, equipment, and expenses.
7. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Relay is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the acts or omissions of senders, couriers, or recipients. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use Relay after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
